[Update 6.15 pm] 1st Rant of 2012. Sorry

1st day of 2012, and what do I see when when I woke up? News about people demonstrating, people got hit during the demonstration. I'm seriously starting to get sick of all these demonstration. Sure, you got a good intention but the solution you choose is just an annoyance to others. Are you all really that desperate to become a politician?

I can't seem to find anything great about the demonstration last night. What did you really accomplished last night? What did you accomplished before this? This is not a country where everything will resolved by demonstrating. Sure the higher ups can be pathetic at some point but that doesn't mean the other side isn't the same. Gaining support through the act of demonstrating, or even violence at certain times, that is not the kind of leader I would choose. And does campus area is allowed for political purposes? And does even outsiders are allowed to enter until midnight? Yes, I do pity those who were badly hurt last night but none of these would happen if all of you had probably not trespassed the campus area. Just let the students do it if they find it to be injustice. Please, I beg of you, no more intervention. Let the students of their own campus decide for themselves what is right and what is wrong.

I'm not a part of any pro-higher ups. I came from the state where the other side is currently in control and to me the MB did a really good job. No demo, no disturbance, no violence is needed. All he need to do is gained the trust of people, do the job that he was entrusted to do. That is what a leader is supposed to be.

And you, the person who would become a teacher in the future, I suggest you should just quit from becoming a teacher and just become a politician. I came from a family where most of them are teachers and none of them are like you at all. They do their job which was entrusted to them. That is the main reason of becoming a teacher, to educate young minds, not asking everyone to join any rally or whatsoever, that is the politicians job.

I respect those who went to the countdown with the 2 ustaz. 80,000 people is not a small number. What they gained is probably worth much more than what those protesters got. And they even do it in the right way, the peaceful way. No shouting all over and disturbing others, no fighting or violence. To those 80,000 people, I hope that you had an enjoyable evening last night.

I might not have heard the full story, so if any of you who are reading this knows more, do informed me. I would be gladly to hear about it. Maybe that can change my perspective as a common person who is not involved in any political groups or any groups at all to be exact. But please, no harsh words, otherwise I wouldn't even bother to hear about it.

*update:
I've watched the video recording of what had happened last night. It was that obvious, you guys were just asking for it. The policemen was nice enough to talk to you first, but you scream and shout. They were good enough to give you some time, but you still scream and shout again.

Few simple question, where's your permit?
Why does it have to be midnight?
Why during all those time, you still hadn't stated your intention?
Does all of you are required to be inside to hand over any memorandum or whatsoever?
Why must you climb over the fence when you know that it will be open during the day?
Didn't you know that every educational institution does not allow entrance after midnight?
Why did you have to break into the private clinic?
If the clinic was indeed open, can't only just a few of you went in?
If it was closed, what is the reason of it in the first place?

Only I simple thing I just want to say, quoted from a friend of mine:
"What you give is what you get"
That's how I see it. You guys wanted it to be like the incident in London is it? Where people got hurt because of these kinda things. You guys keep on saying the police are not following their Standard of Procedure, SOP, or whatever you guys called it. But did you guys follow the SOP given by the police? Like I've said before, what you give is what you get. What did you gained from this? Correct me if I was wrong, if I'm not mistaken, students are not allowed to participate in politics? If it was indeed written in the rule book, then follow it. If rules are meant to be broken, then you can say goodbye to your justice. If you want to change the rules, then finish your study and go ahead and join the political arena. I have no problem with that. To ruin the educational institutional image is just sadly pathetic.

You guys want a true leader? Then follow those who are leading people the right way. Follow those who put their religions and trust first rather than politics. Sure it might be a slow step, but if it is the right way and a peaceful way, then why not? Just look at Ustaz Azhar Idrus. He gained trust by people not by rioting, not by shouting all over. He gained influence by fulfilling his duty as a Muslim, to spread the knowledge of Islam.

2011 In One Post :)

2011 was a great year for me. There were ups and downs but to me, it was a memorable year. So many things happened in 2011.

2011 was the year I volunteered to join an event for the first time.

2011 was the year I got to witness Arsenal FC live with my very own eyes.

2011 was the first year I managed to watch a performance at MPO.

2011 was the year I joined an event organised by IIUM as one of the committees.

2011 was the year I join an international event for the first time.

2011 was the year I got my very own original Arsenal Jersey. 125th Year celebration Edition.

2011 was the year Blue Devils came to Malaysia.

2011 was the year I became a studio rep for a short while.

2011 was the year I return back to Gunpla.

2011 was the year I got my very own DSLR, Canon EOS 550d.

2011 was the year I made a bunch of new friends in IIUM (local & international).

And much more.

This is my "time capsule" for 2011.

So basically I had fun in 2011. Yes, not everything went according to what I planned, but that doesn't mean it's going to ruin my year. I probably won't have any regrets in what I've done in 2011. 2011 gave me a whole lot of lessons in life. It is something that I just won't forget.

I would like to thank those of you who had been a great friend to me during 2011. You guys were just amazing. I don't have any grudges or problems to bear with all of you. So no hard feelings right? :)

2011 ended with a blast. Had fun with the guys today. With that, I end my last post for 2011 with the song from Train - This Ain't Goodbye. See you again in 2012. :)

Music+Work=Enjoyable

Does anyone noticed that sometimes your current mood depends on the song your listening? It's definitely true if you ask me, either you noticed or not. Imagine yourself hearing to songs like "MAD-NUG" (GNUC Soundtrack) or Ride (Samuel R. Hazo). These two are considered to be a fast tempo song and their melody are the kinds that will make your heart beats faster. These kind of songs are usually used for that dramatic climax scenes in movies. Try listening it while you're doing your assignments. It's kinda funny but it actually make you feel excited to do your works. Works every time for me.

No Regrets

One important lesson in life is regretting something that you've done is just pointless. No matter how bad the outcome is, just accept it and continue on living. There's no point for you to think about something that could not be undone. People make mistakes, but from that mistake, they learn something and keep on living. That is the beauty of life. Remind yourself that no matter what you've done and how bad the outcome is, take it as a lesson of life. The desire to keep on living is what makes your smile valuable. Always remember that. :)

Between Music and Architecture

Apparently during my 2 phases of educational life, I've chosen probably 2 of the hardest path that I could think of. Secondary school, I choose to be in a band, while for campus life, I'm currently an undergraduate in Bsc. Architecture. These 2 are seriously difficult compared to some others.

Never underestimate the school bands. They have the most hectic schedule to keep unlike other uniform groups. Roughly 3 times a week of practice, a whole week of practice when any competition or performance is near, either exposed to the hot sun or stuck on a seat for hours. They're probably the only group where there are no such thing as no more activities after the final exams or those who are currently a candidate for a major exam cannot join any co-curricular activities when the exam is near or after the third quarter of the year. There is no rest for them. Performance throughout the whole year, practicing day and night, balancing between education and responsibilities. But in the end, the satisfaction they achieved after performing is just something that you can't put into words. The excitement is incomparable to other things during school life. But the most important part is that you become closer with other members. They've become a family to you. You shared laughter, sadness, fatigue, and much more with them. It will last in your memories forever.

There's always arguments about which majors is the most hardest in campus life. Sure, you can say you got 6-8 papers of exam, numbers of reports to write, tonnes of books to be memorized. So, is that all? From what I can see, most of the things that you learn is already available inside the books. Yes there are practicals also but what you're doing is just repeating what others before you had already done. Whereas in architecture, you need to come up with something original, something none has ever done before, something that is not thought by lecturers for you to copy. Architecture or for some, it is better known as architorture. You go to class like the rest of them but the difference is that you probably ain't going back to your room. You'll most likely be stuck inside your studio improving your design or finishing your work. To be more specific, your work is not something that could be completed in just a few hours. It might take days, weeks or even months. In the end, your work will still end up being rejected by the lecturers. For architecture students, that's just a daily basis. You'll spend your time more in the studio than in the real living world, you'll probably sleep in the studio like it was you room, you'll probably won't have a stable social life. But rest assure, during your time in the studio, you'll become great friends with your studiomates. Friends that will last longer than you think.

In the end, I have no regrets for choosing both of these path in my life. Instead, I feel proud of choosing them. They've given me great friends, unforgettable memories, and many experiences in life. I'm grateful for it.

If you're listening this song without reading who's the singer, you'll definitely wouldn't expect that it was her singing it. See how a simple change of style can change how a person sounds. :)

Why smile is such a wonderful gift?

Smile is indeed something special. Seeing another person smile can really affect you. To be able to make another person smile is the best feeling you could have. Sometimes you don't need to speak a word to let people know what you feel. All you need to do is just smile and others will know that you're feeling happy.

Smile is oftentimes related to the feeling of happy. When a person feels happy, they'll smile. When they smile, those around them will also smile. Smile might be contagious, but if it's a good thing, so why not keep on doing it and continue spreading the feeling. :)

Life is a wonderful gift from Allah. What makes life more interesting is that when you fail in something, the passion that drives you to keep on improving is indeed an amazing feeling. Don't give up to easily, instead prove to yourself that you could become better.

Random Quote #004

"It's all humanities doing, indiscriminate development, dropping the colonies and the asteroids. If humanity is the product of nature, that makes all of mankind's waste and poison natural's product too. And even if it's rendered unfit for human habitation, it will be the result of nature achieving a new balance. Mother nature does not have an ounce of mercy, our ancestors were able to understand that. As product of nature, it is something they knew and stick instinctively.

To survive and to protect themselves, they created civilization and society. But what they created got to complicated. A society is to serve the people, not the other way around. In the end it made life to difficult for people. And to escape that insane world, they went out into space in search of a new home. There, they created a new system.

It was natural that one would arrived and it gave hope to the spacenoids that were cast out. It gave their lives direction. But the old system on Earth rejected it. Because systems born from two different philosophies can never be compatible. The result is always the same, one tries to make the other submit."

Quoted from GNUC Episode 4: At the Bottom of the Gravity Well

Why Drum Corps Inspired My Life?

Quote from Phantom Regiment 2011:

"Anyone can tell a story, but no one can leave you spellbound like Phantom Regiment"

"We're here for the audience, always! Whether we're 1st place, whether we're 9th place. We are here for the audience, and we play with persistence, power, and passion. Some people have power, doesn't matter if we don't got passion and persistence. We're gonna keep coming at you, we're gonna come at you every single night, Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday Night. We're gonna keep that audience always wanting more."

"It is your role to inspire them. What you have right now, these are precious moments. It's time like this that we live for. To inspire audience, to take them places that they have never been before, and you're the only corps that is capable of doing that. All of the highs, and the lows, and everything in between. You're the only group that is capable of bringing all of those emotions to life."

"Because it has the heart, it has the passion, it has the spirit, and doing whatever it takes to leave on. What legacy are you gonna leave? Make your mark starting tonight."

"Everything is made out of moments, just like your summer is made out of key moments, and maybe this will be one of them where we turn the corner."

"It's your show. At this point, we hand it over to you. With love."

Quote from Holy Name Cadets 2010"

"It's a feeling that's hard to describe because it is something that you know that you had spend so much time and effort into. And to know that it sorta ends? It is sorta like a dream."

"A brass instrument is one of those unique instruments that you can feel what the person is feeling. What you're feeling, the audience is feeling, and that is what it's like to stand in front of 72 great musicians. You feel the love for the instruments, you feel the love for the drum corps, and the love to perform."

"When we get to perform, that's our payoff. That's our reward for working all day under the hot sun and falling rain. And when people stand up and showing gratitude for what we've done on the field, it's the best."

Fenrir's 365 Days: Day 4

"Do not touch!"
Final submission mood ~(-,-)~

Random Quote #003

The fight doesn't end until I fulfill my dream,
I wonder how far I've come now?
In ten years, I'll be living the dream,
It's the scenario I wrote for myself, so I'll have no regrets,
But life isn't that easy, and it's full of obstacles,
Still, I swear to myself that I won't ever back down.

I have a dream that I absolutely want to achieve,
So I fuel my passion until I succeed,
There will be meetings and partings along the way,
But I'll simply believe in my strength that you've taught me,
And rise back up again and again and again,
Dream of life.

Reasons to Keep On Smiling

Don't tell your problem to those who you don't trust but if possible try to avoid letting the person you care know what you feel. Continue smiling in front of them, even if it hurts inside of you. It's hard to tell them what you feel but as long as they're happy, keep on doing the same.

Never question the fate that was given to you, everything that happened has a reason. Just hope for the best.

Random Quote #002

Even though we share the same desire to seek peace,
Even though we understand each other,
Why is it, my path and yours, will never intersect,
You used force to try to eliminate conflict from the world,
Even if you were to succeed,
Would you ever find your own happiness in it,
Your burdened with sin and you suffered scars,
And yet, you continue to fight,
I can't help to think that your way of living is unbearably sad,
I believe that sharing with others the happiness within each person.
And then expanding those personal relationships,
Is what will lead us to true peace,
So please,
It is my own wish that somehow you will seize your very own happiness,
I pray that someday, happiness finds you...

GN00 Season 2

Random Quote #001

I wanted to know why the world is so twisted,
Where did this twistedness comes from,
How can people be so wicked without meaning to be,
And why don't they realize their wickedness,
Why are there things that bring chaos to so many lives,
Why do people ruled and let themselves be ruled,
And why do they hurt each other,
And why, despite all that people do still want to live their lives,
I was just looking for answers,
I thought that if I met with you, you give me those answers,
Because you're looking for the same thing,
Along a different path from mine,
For the path where people can understand each other,
For those answers,
I was looking for those answers...

Quote

Death should be treated with dignity,
We're supposed to respect one another's life,
But once we grown out of childhood that we know better but we still cause meaningless bloodshed,
We've done it to the Earth as well,
We've devoured her resources and sought out new frontier to exploit in space.

Humanity grew out of control and must endeavor to regain its dignity,
We must revive the hope that was born years ago,
Through the potential that lies within,
We will demonstrate the true power and compassion of humanity,
To transcend what is immediate,
And realize our great potential,
The greatness within us that is possibility.

Blockade Response

Harga mahal yg amat, tapi kandungan pun tahap yg amat kurang memuaskan. Dulu kalau xsilap kerajaan pernah soal selidik harga yg sesuai untuk dijual berdasarkan survey ke atas pengguna, aku nak tanya, apa jadi dengan survey tu? Aku tengok cd2 ori yg dok jual kat kedai tu bukan main high class harga. Kalau special edition ke apa aku boleh terima tapi ni lagu pun xbanyak mana, tapi harga bagai nak rak. Bukannya aku xsokong barang2 ori ni, aku pun sekali-sekala beli jugak. Tapi aku beli sebab aku rasa puas hati dengan barang tu. Lagi satu, macam yg orang lain cakap kat blog masing-masing, nak dengar satu lagu je, tapi xkan nak kena beli satu album terus kot. Setakat ni aku rasa Maxis je la (Digi katanya ada jugak tapi aku xtaw sebab xguna Digi) yg jual lagu-lagu ikut kehendak pengguna walaupun sampai sekarang aku xtaw nak login masuk application tu camna. Harga tu pun xpayah la nak mahal-mahal sangat sampai 5-6 ringgit, murah-murah cukup la, konfim ramai pengguna nanti. Dua-dua belah pihak untung, cetak rompak kurang, pengguna pun dapat barang berkualiti.

2. Apa guna fungsi button report kat website-website yg kena sekat tu?
Yg ni aku betol-betol xpaham. Boleh je pergi report kat admin-admin website tu mintak remove. Senang je cerita. Sapa2 pun xmarah. Ni x, terus blok tanpa sebarang rundingan. Tambah-tambah lagi cakap website ni menjejaskan keuntungan wayang. Terjejas sangat ke keuntungan hasil jualan tiket tu? aku tengok penuh jugak panggung wayang walaupun cerita-cerita boleh download je. Yg cakap x untung tu sebab produk memang xmenarik, xpayah la nak tuduh website2 ni punca rugi, wayang melayu bukan main susah nak jumpa kat online. kalau ada pun cerita-cerita yg memang top habis. Tu pun peratus nak jumpa pun sikit. Xpernah ke pergi survey kenapa x ramai orang tengok cerita-cerita yg kononnya "bez" tu? Xsurvey pun rasanya dah tahu sebab apa. Kat youtube aku tengok banyak je cerita orang upload tapi xde pulak kan nak pergi report kat admin? Youtube website yg strict kalau ada orang report pasal hakcipta, memang dia akan remove terus video tu.

3. Bila dah sekat file-sharing ni, macam mana orang yg nak share kerja2 masing dengan orang lain?
Macam mana nak share file kerja-kerja yg saiz berat2? Emel?

Aku bukan nak menentang tapi aku sekadar memohon agar mereka kaji balik tindakan ni & jangan risau la, aku memang xkan babitkan isu politik. Aku xsokong mana2 parti, umur pun xcukup lagi nak mengundi, kalau nak sokong pun aku pilih mereka yg betol2 berkhidmat kepada masyarakat xkisah la dari pihak mana pun. Jalankan tanggungjawab dengan betol, itu yg penting.

Ps: Yg kes hackers tu aku xberapa nak setuju sebenarnya. Boleh timbul masalah kalau ada maklumat2 peribadi yg bocor ke tangan orang yg xbertanggungjawab.
